I'll start with admiting to being DNK (Dumb, No Knowledge) about ballistics, precision shooting and computers.
I have a Linux net book that I would like to set up with a ballistic calculator and some sort of data book. I have played with an older Palm Pilot with an assortment of free programs that were great if only one rifle and one load where used. I could not figure out how to save different profiles or move information from one program to the other.
That PDA is no more. I was considering bribing a geek to set up a Palm emulator on the net book and and seeing if he could set up a spread sheet to collect data.
Can anyone suggest something a little more "prepackaged" that wont cost more than a case of good beer? thanks.
