Is anyone able to tell me if a Surefire Warcomp Flash Hider pinned and welded to an LMT 13.5" 308 barrel meets the 16" total length?

The Surefire website shows a length of 2.7" for the muzzle device. .2" to spare... cutting it close.

@unclemoak Seems to think otherwise.

You are not taking into account the 0.625" of thread overlap in your calculation.

It’s not long enough. LMTs flash hider or a KAC MAMS will get you there.

Thank you.

So none of the Surefire QD suppressor hosts will work?

I'll be the jerk on the indoor range with a compensated 13.5 308 if it will get me there...

Negitave. If you cut a longer barrel down to 14 inches with a pinned 7.62 surefire MD, that will get you over 16". The 13.5 won't get you there.

13.7 is the ideal length. Youtube it.

See my previous post in the LMT MWS thread.

A 13.5" barrel can be pinned with either a Sons of Liberty Nox, a Surefire Warcomp (if you use the included thick black spacer), or a Knights Armament MAMS and get you to 16" as measured from the bolt face.

A Surefire Warcomp with the black shim that you need to use.
