Looking for the best option for mounting the B&T Monopod (BT12-QK) to my LMT DMR 308 stock. I think I’ll need to cut/file down a portion of the stock in order to get the monopod to lock when closed. Has anyone made this modification? Is it better to install monopod forward and file/cut down the extension or install the monopod towards the rear and file/cut the stock?
