Load for 30-06. IMR 4350 and 165GR Sierra Gamekings

Anybody have a good load for the 30-06 using IMR 4350 and Sierra 165GR matchkings?

Well good known OCW node around 57.0-57.5grs of IMR 4350. As always work up to those charges.

I would like to get 3000+ out of this load is that possible?

Depends. ..what is your barrel length? .....how much freebore?.... bore dimentions?.... do you plan on using your brass more than one or two firings?....you could possibly get 3K fps but why? Is that more important than having a stable accurate load? Why not work up to a node that works and call it good?

I agree with barrel nut. You could hot rod the 06, but the accuracy might suffer. The powder that might will get you close to that speed would be RL17. Be careful though, and watch for pressure signs.
