I've been using the Berger 140 VLD Target in my 6.5 Creedmoor with a 26" Brux barrel with a 1:8 twist. The load has been with H4350 at 42.4 gr. I have been able to find some Berger 140 Hybrid Target bullets I would like to compare to the VLD to the Hybrid using the same H4350. I am looking for a load that I can use from 100 yd. to 1K. Has anyone else done this and how much change in the charge weight did you see? If need be I'll just do a whole new workup for the Hybrid and report back my findings.

Thanks Richard

Those bullets will have different bearing surfaces and they will probably like a different seating depth. That means pressure differences, not to mention barrel harmonics.
They are the same weight, but other than that they are different bullets. If you want to get the most out of those hybrids work up a load just for them.

Different projectile means new load workup for me.
