When working up a load can you start low and increase say .5gr going up, and then go back and fine tune say .2 up and down from your better groups? Or should you start low and go up say .2 until you see pressure signs, then do you fine tune from there say .1 up and down from your best groups??

Personally I go half a grain at a time. Then take the 2 best groups / loads and then move in .2 grains to find the best loads.

Remember if you change brass and as you increase the powder charge, to keep a watch for pressure signs.
