    I can't imagine the nightmare the live buck was going through while his battle buddy was getting smashed by no doubt, more than one 'yote.

    Next time grab your 12 guage with a slug and shoot the dead deers rack at the base and it will unlock them or if there both living shoot one 2" above the base. Thats what the DNR wardens do here.

    this video has been selected for the NAW TV "Muzzy Moment" i've been in contact with George Whittington, he's gonna fill me in on the air date, should be in june-july, then re-air during hunting season!!!

    thanks, regarding the bone saw... i have two of them in my skinning room on stand by... guiding deer, elk, antelope hunters its a huge plus "when" i get the chance to use it.

    i know lots of you have seen this video, but i just got an update from Gordon Whittington from NAW, i haven't seen it yet but i'm interested how they edited the HD footage for their show, Gordon gave me the air time and channels it will be on... "the first of several airings with your LOCKED BUCKS Muzzy Moment was last night. It will re-air on Sportsman Channel again tomorrow (Fri.) at 11 a.m. CENTRAL time, then 7 a.m. Sat. on Fox Sports Net, then 5 a.m. Sunday. And then it will air several more times in Oct. Hope you enjoy!"

    Wow, what a story, and you have video to prove it happened! Truly amazing, I'd hate to be the living deer and have to live through that whole ordeal. Looked like he got gored in the ear pretty good. Anyways, I hope to see the video again tomorrow night, pretty freaking cool skinney

    You know what the non-hunting public thinks about the gun/hunting culture, they need to see this side of sportsman.
    We don't just kill or poach everything we get a chance to.
    You fellows were in the right place at the right time to do the right thing.
    Good for you, thanks for sharing this video, I can only imagine how you felt when the young buck was finally free.
    He deserved it, and you deserve any praise coming your way from Hide members or the public at large.

    kept the antlers, fed the rest to my Rottweiler "Shooter" and Doberman "Diesel" kept em full for a couple hours.

    I was like "shiiiiit, just jump on the live ones back, and saw off the dead ones antlers"

    But obviously you guys did the smarter and safer thing in a split moment!
