Hunting & Fishing locked up deer video

Here is a video from a couple weekends ago. I was the sawzall guy. The dead deer was a 4 year old 10 with a small drop tine, and the live deer is a 3 year old 12 point... both great looking younger deer.

Not to hijack, but skinney here on the hide had the exact same thing happen last winter. I've never seen it happen before, and now I've seen it twice. Coyotes eating the dead one while the other hangs on for "deer life".

you have to get on them and get them apart quick... stress can kill a deer as fast as a pack of coyotes.

this was a first for me, we find them every year locked up with both bucks dead, but at least the little guy was lucky on this deal.

About ten years ago I saw the results of this at my dad's lake. Two nice 8 points locked up and fell over into some shallow water overnight but couldn't get up so they both drowned.

That was pretty cool how it looked like covering it's eyes calmed it down pretty quick while you went to town with the sawzall.

I have never seen them alive but have seen the skulls a time or two. Would definately be something to see when they are alive.

How 'bout that damn foot lasso! He's done that a time or two. A couple 'a years ago, my father-in-law was doing a lasso demo at a local historical festival, teaching kids how to rope a post. Some smart-ass teenage mouth breather stepped up and bet him he couldn't lasso a moving animal so he told him to take off. A few strides later, the boy was snackin on a dirt sandwich.
