i am debating selling my like new usp 40 full size and wanted to pick the brains of some of the guys here on what i can expect to get for this pistol as i want to be fair when it comes to my asking price.

here is the info for the pistol

usp 40 s&w full size (bought new in 2010)
has ambi control lever
3 mags
original hard case
all original paperwork and tools included with the pistol
pistol has about 200 rounds of federal ammo ran throught it
condition is abouot 98% or better

Anywhere from 575 to 675 would be a good price. Check out the HKpro forum or gunbroker to see what used USP's are going for.

An AK-date coded (2009) USPf in .40 S&W with all factory bits/bobbles, an extra mag (+1 to the 2 OEM mags...I am assuming all are full-capacity, 13rnd and NOT 10rnd mags), with upgraded ambi-ctrl lever (a $90 part unless you got it used or for a good price), in excellent condition...I'd say you are looking at a cash/FMV price of around $650 or less.

I would have to agree with the above, but check gunbroker and also see what new ones are selling for in your area, probably get 20% or so less than that.

If You can get $600 FTF you'd better jump all over it. I don't think Your pkg will bring $600 on Gunbroker, and then You will have their commission fees held out also. If you want to sell it don't turn down the first $550 offer. Watch Gunbroker. krw

Why don't you check gunbroker. That's what I base my sales price off of. It's re eBay of guns

I don't think it'll bring over $500, but I realize I'm in the minority. I've seen similar guns go for $450 relatively recently.

Been there bro. Dont sell it. I've regretted it ever since. Favorite gun i've ever owned and i let go of it stupidly. Used gun market is HARSH right now. I also had an AK date coding and the BEST offer I got at any store was $400. Literally less than 50% of the purcahse price and it was pristine. I took great care of it. Private sale would be your best bet.
