LOL!! So, tactical lever gun is a thing now?

Leverguns can do A LOT of sustained damage even in a modern warfare setting. They can be fired faster than bolt action rifles too. However, a "TACTICAL" levergun is just a marketing gimmick though. Any old functioning levergun right out the box should do fine if the person shooting it knows what they are doing. They'll get you heavier weapons in no time.

Lever actions are cool. I want me a Henry and have for a while now but I can't decide on the caliber. I really don't want to add to my caliber stable anymore but I like the idea of a 22-250. First world problems for sure

I will stick to a AR or AK.
Yeah, but only because I now have them. However, when it wasn't doing it's job in the deer stand, the 30-30 Win. lever action has been the go-to 'Don't fuck with us' carbine for ours and most households growing up and handled that role just fine.

Fast, deadly accurate and reliable, I would have no hesitation using mine again in that role.

that is some cool shooting. I really want to get into CAS but dont have the time...

PS I hate it but I really want a tactical lever rifle.

I shot my last bear with an original 1876 Winchester in 50-90. I wasnt sure if I hit on my first shot so I levered a new round in too fast and stove piped it. ugh. Lucky the bear died. The shockwave of the 450 grain bullet killed him lol...

So the question I have:

Do these bear killing lever guns defeat body armor?

I mean you can get hit by a car on the freeway wearing body armor and you still die.

Is there enough energy stored that it will stop a person heart even if the round doesn’t penetrate?

Gosh, CAS seems to have gone a bit 'IPSC',

Admittedly not been to a match in over 16 years but pretty certain the targets were a bit further out?

Theres ammo on that website ive been looking for for years. Why is eveything out of stock.

50-95 vs 6br

lots of people load these oddball calibers. just have to buy when they do a run. just found some brass on gunbroker. this rifle isnt one you shoot a bunch. kind of a one of a kind import from England.

ETA: ITS A 50-95 not a 90.

I want a 6br barrel bad. I don't know if I should rebarrel my old savage 10, or remage my chassis gun and swap between 308 and 6br.

I just don't need 3 rifles of the same caliber. Also want a lever gun but the prices have gone full ruhtard, and I refuse to get a new one with a cross bolt safety. I know it’s regulation bs, but why the fuck does a single action revolver or lever action need a damn safety?
