I've been considering a long range class. I shoot PRS type matches but any way I can improve my overall shooting the better. I keep hearing Rifles only, Core(Altus now I think) and K&M. Any of you guys have first hand experience with any or all of These? It's alot of money so I'm trying to get the most I can from it.

Only classes I’ve attended were at K&M so really can’t comment on the others.
Shannon and his crew are very professional and run a very clean formatted class. Money well spent there and the bunkhouse experience helps in the learning curve. Top notch all the way. Highly recommend.

If you weren't shooting PRS, would the Competition prep class be good continued learning after comprehensive?

It depends on what your after. For a hunting discipline no. It’s set up for competition. The 4 day was great. The preparation was fun and you can learn a lot of it by practice, how to set up on various barricades, rocks etc.

I believe CORE is now ALTUS, just inside of Florida. I've only heard good things about all 3 schools, depending on your location the best choice may be the one that's easiest to get to. Ex: Driving vs Flying and having to ship your rifle/ammo.
