long range shooting range

Hi I am pretty new to the forum but been shooting different stuff for 45 years. I have a friend who is willing to teach some long range shooting and I am trying to locate a range good for at least 500 yards in central or western NY or PA area. I live near Corning NY. Thanks. I am enjoying this forum a lot.

Welcome, I pretty new here also. Not sure about your area but have at least 2 here near Central Ohio if you are ever in the area. Rayners Range and Thunder Valley. Matches will be held at both all summer long.

I am not positive but I am pretty sure odessa near Watkins Glen has a 1000yd range.

try reade range, its up to 1000 yds and near tyrone in western pa

Keystone Fish and Game is currently conducting a survey for input on construction of a 600yd range with pits.
