Chad recently finished up truing and chambering a Rem 700 LH in .300 Win Mag for me, this weekend I did my load development and wish to share the results.
I tried the new Hornady 208 and 225 BTHP Match in a total of 11 different combinations of powder, primer and bullet. Testing was completed at 300 yards, as 100 yard testing yielded one-hole groups with literally any ammunition. At 300 yards, my targets consisted of 1" self adhesive target pasters on a sheet of paper. The largest group was .8moa; 5 of the 11 groups were under .5moa and two of the groups were under .4 moa with the best group coming in at .303 MOA. (this is using UNPREPPED NEW R-P BRASS! Not even a case mouth chamfer)
I believe this kind of accuracy across a wide pressure spectrum can only be attributed to an excellent barrel (Rock Creek) perfectly machined and trued action, and a chamber with nearly zero TIR as the inspection reports he included show.
The work was done at a fair price and his attention to detail exceeded my expectations.

I will use Longrifles, Inc again and appreciate the excellent work. Thank you Chad!

Steve,

Glad to know its werkin.

Will,

Your up on the hotplate buddy (meaning NEXT). Were just about done with this month's build list and ready to start into the October fiasco!

Thanks again guys. I think we might just be setting a trend.

I had the same "problem" with the gun he built for me. It's good to see that others are experiencing the same thing. I am now 600 rounds deep into mine it shoots better than I can steer it.
