I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I need to know.......... Has anybody out there ever done business with a dealer in North Atlanta named "Global Gun Sales". They have a weapon I'd like to own, but I'm getting a weird vibe. I don't know if they're online only, The only phone number listed is a cell #, I was instructed to make half the payment thru paypal to one individual, make the other half to a different person thru paypal, take a screenshot of the confirmation pages and send them to a different indivdual with the company. Really seems like a scam.
I like a good deal as much as the next guy, but I get the feeling this is a rip-off.

well, it's just one of those situations where your torn between jumping on what seems like a good deal, and listening to that little voice that says "you're fixing to get screwed". I've always preached to my wife and daughter, if something seems strange, it's for a reason. Guess I'd better take my own advice and shop elsewhere. I've never had to jump through all these hoops to buy from someone.

A gun shop wanting you to use PayPal would be a red flag for me. Throw in the payment to multiple people and it sounds all wrong. It may be a consignment or something, but it seems off to me.

No idea who they are. But call Cherokee gun and pawn they have the best prices I have found, and they will order it for you. They just ordered me a MPA match precision rifle no money down.

Sounds like a scam. Never heard of them locally here. Looked at the address listed when I searched google and it’s a furniture store in a not great part of town.

    The address they list
8700 Sudley Road, (this does not appear to exist)
4343 Northeast Expy Atlanta, GA 30340

Shows a google street view from Nov 2018 as a furniture store

Looks like they also have some full autos for sale?? seems VERY strange

    SCAM!!!!!

    DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

At best, it's just another shitty thief, at worst, it's an ATF front. Either way, STOP! This shit was run down via Tumblr two years ago, same photos lifted off Armslist still up on the website, the works.

Ask for a copy of their FFL then punch it in on the ATF EZ Check link to make sure it's legit. Also I do not believe PayPal even allows for dealers to use it's merchant services for firearm transactions.

Individual to individual on this site for example would fly below the radar for PayPal but that whole situation sounds extremely sketchy. The logic of wanting two separate transactions to two separate accounts means they get hit with a PayPal fraud investigation they will likely still get away with half of the money if that makes sense?

    I would bail personally.

That's exactly what I intend to do. Just too many red flags.

+2 on Cherokee. They are my Class III dealer. Couple more good ones local, including Firearms Training Academy in Holly Springs/Woodstock.
