I'm checking to see what everyone uses or recommends to repaint a CZ 455 precision trainer manners stock, I have the original desert tan version and would like to change the color. I would like to use what manners coated the stock with, extremely durable . Please let me know what you have use with success, I really don't want to end up stripping off a crap quality paint on a expensive stock. I wonder if manners used Cerakote paint ? Thanks for any information ! Jay

Not sure what they use, but I sanded my t4a then used the camo krylon with flat clear over it. It's held up very well.

There are two that I've used over the years, both are highly durable and easy to work with. The first is Polane B, available through Sherwin Williams, the other, which is my preferred stock paint, is Zolatone. Zolatone uses a Catalyzer and it cures hard, but doesn't reach a point of embrittlement.

Hope this helps,
