Live in Austin. Never been hog hunting and it's on my bucket list. Own my own business but consider myself semi-retired and can take off when I need to, day, weekend, whatever. I'm willing to travel within a reasonable distance from Austin, help with work days, share expenses, etc. I'm also one of the gazillion people who build ARs, so if you need help with that, I'm available, have all the tools, jigs, etc.
PM me if this works for you. Have a great day..

Been trying to get down to Texas the last 3 years. I have looked a lot, one of them perked my intrest was pineywoods rooters in eastern Texas. I'm doing it in 2020 come hell or high water. Would also like to experience another facility Just for fun to compare. I'm 1300 mi. Away. If you find a good one reasonably priced I would love some feedback. I don't need fancy but some of the prices are a bit too much for hog hunting I'm not a tight ass but some are ridiculous. Helo hunts look fun but way too much for 1 or two hours of hunting. Some of the places you need more people to make it reasonable some charge by the pound some charge for (trophy)
Size. Some are unlimited number of hogs no extra charge with exception of quartering and cleaning. I have thermal and all the rifles necessary.
Good luck with the search.

I have a hunt scheduled for first week in February for all the hogs you can kill and Axis deer if the opotunity is there.
I grew up in Marble Falls and honestly if you were to check around with some of the local ranches you could most likely find some people that would let you kill as many of the destructive little bastards as you want once deer hunting season is over.

I spoke with the friend of mine that organizes the hunt we are going on every year.
He said we still have one spot available if anyone is interested.
It is on a private 3000 acre ranch, everyone has thier own cabin, there is a main bunk house with full kitchen and a big smoker outside and walk in cooler for game.
Lots of hogs and there are a lot of axis deer in the area that roam through the ranch.
The hunt is from Jan 30th to Feb 6th, we would be the only ones on the ranch.
PM me if any one wants the spot but needs to be a definite.
Should be a alot fun, I only know one person in the group so it could be a fairly diverse crowd but I know they don't tolerate any shenanigans within reason.

Any updates on this thread. Live in Kentucky but have been thinking about trying to do some hog hunting in Florida Georgia or maybe Texas. Will probably be Florida since I have family in north Florida.

Saw this billboard yesterday. You can also shoot a tank if you’ve got a few grand just sitting around.

I was looking for a place to hog hunt recently and was recommended rougarou hog control in Louisiana or High Plains Hunts in Texas. We have a hunt scheduled in Louisiana in two weeks and I can let you know how it goes.

Pics and feedback would be good.
Hopefully, you have fun do decent.
I was looking at Pineywoods rooters in eastern Texas for starters.

I’ve hunted with Jeremy at HPH. We saw a few hundred hogs that night. A large handful of fields with 50+ hogs in each. We ended up with high 20s killed, but that’s only because we wasted more time with camera gear and getting everything adjusted more than killing.
