I am looking to get some work done to my S&W 686, and I am trying to balance between finding a decent smith and turn around time. Normally I would not care too much about turn around time, but this is my carry piece and I don't have a replacement while it is gone.

I am looking to get an action job, new sights installed (that I am providing), and to check out a leading issue.

Does anyone have recommendations? I have been thinking about 10-ring precision because they put you on a waiting list and then call you when they are ready to do the work, rather than having your gear sit on a self.

Bahaha! Its a stainless steel L frame tipping the scales at 40ounces unloaded. My New York reload is to use it as a club or throw it like a rock. =P

In all seriousness, my other handguns are N frames that I don't have concealed holsters for, or a glock 26 that stays home for the girlfriend.

Frank Glenn!! He has done 5 of my S&W revo's. Im local to him so i've sat with him in his shop a bunch. Nicest guy ever and excellent work. I cant say enough good things about him. He certainly knows his way around revos and 1911's.
