Looking for advice on my Savage 10 HS Precision

Hello all and thank you in advance for any advice.

I am at a crossroads of sort, I was looking into getting my barrel threaded as it is a bull barrel and I was wanting to add a TB 30P-1 to it. However my problem is that where I live (Columbus, Ohio) I can't seem to find anyone that does this type of precision work, I was leaning towards Dan from Dark Eagle Custom (which makes great 10 rnd mags) and he would charge $100 for the threading and $65 for the thread protector. He uses a HAAS CNC TM2 Lathe to thread the barrel as well. But I was also leaning toward just purchasing a new barrel and my conundrum there would be which one would be best for my situation. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Bit of a drive from CBus, but ADCO is in Sylvania OH and they can easily do that work for you.

Dan can also fix you up easily.
