Due to my stupidity it was necessary to disassemble my MK 13 MOD 7 rifle. In the process i somehow managed to misplace the two locator pins for the 20 moa scope rail. Checked with Mile High with no joy. If anyone has information on where to find them i would greatly appreciate if you would share .
This is not a WTB post. I know the rules merely looking for info.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure who would have those specific parts in stock.

I thought Mile High was an approved armorer for AI, so I'm pretty surprised they weren't willing to help.

EuroOptic (@Euro.Connor ) may be able to help - they have AI's and stock some parts. Otherwise, you may have to go straight to AI North America.

Another alternative, is to get the measurements of the pins and have a local machinist make those parts.

Am associated with a machine machine shop that is capable of making them if i could get the exact deminsions . Woul rather have originals if possible to prevent errors in conservations. Thanks

I have had absolutely phenomenal customer service experiences with AINA.
They are hit and miss. My folder loosened up a bit and they refreshed it no charge to make it tight again. Needed my AW feed lips adjusted and they did it at no cost and quick turn around. Needed the male and female folder capture pieces and was told to buy the $250 folder kit when I already had a folder, just needed the two small parts. Absolutely refused to sell me two small pieces. Just found that odd when they had been helpful without issue in the past.

I mean honestly that seems fair... certain parts may only be available in bundles. a stupid decision, but a fair one. I didn't expect Aina to be that good. honestly in the thousands of rounds out of my AX I never had the first problem with ANYTHING. the first weapon system to do that to me actually.. I mean besides wearing out barrels but that's par for the course.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my AIs… never had an issue with one, functionally. And they can choose to do as they wish with their parts… but bundling small parts into an expensive parts kit does seem silly. Like only needing one of the two bolts that holds a brake caliper on but being told that bolt is only available in the kit that includes the caliper, and both bolts to hold it on…

Take the rail and possibly action to a machine shop, ask before you stroll in with it if it's OK. They can use pin gages to determine precise diameter and use depth mic to determine length. I'd probably have them make the length .010 shorter so it doesn't bottom out in the rail/action holes.

An ave gunsmith would be more than capable of this also, it's not a job that requires Terry cross or Dave tooley. While they're making 2 for you, might as well have some extras made JIC.

I can confirm that AI does supply the locator pins. Stiller will be my only possible source now.
I think you mean that AI does not supply the action locator pins and never have. We supply the chassis and action rail on the MK 13 Mod 7 along with screws but not the pins. Those should be supplied with the Stiller action.

Corrected my typing skills are some what limited along with other things.

FYI: these pins are available from Stiller.

Thanks to everyone for there assistance and suggestions. Only on the Hide can one get this kind of knowledge from a great bunch of people. Not the least of all thanks to Lowlight HMIC
