In a previous thread, I mentioned that I had a Remington 40-XB in .222 Rem I have decided that I want to convert it to a 6.5x47 Lapua, which requires the larger bolt. Can any one suggest a source for this bolt. I have Pacific Tool and Gauge but I see mixed reviews for them so I would like to see if there is anyone else out there. Will a short action Remington 700 series bolt work?
