Looking for quality bore guide

I've got a 260 remington on a Stiller Tac30 action coming in and was wondering what are the best options for a quality boreguide. I figure Lucas will be the most popular answer and for good reason. Can anyone link me up to a good dealer who has a quality piece in stock? I figure a 308 version would work due to the 260 being based of the 308 case.

I've got a Dewey guide now that i use for some of the lower end rifles but really want to upgrade for the latest addition.

My first choice is always Lucas, but Sinclair International also has an inexpensive bore guide that holds up well.

If not would you say midway is the best bet for a Sinclair or possum hollow?

I emailed Mike on March 7th and sent the check on the 8th. He said if I confirmed and sent the money right away, the guide would be shipped out with the next batch on or before April 8th. Not sure if that window is still open or not. Hope this helps.

Another vote for Lucas...have 6 or 7 of them now in various calibres/actions. Great kit and Mike is an extremely helpful and professional guy to deal with.

Glad you found him to be helpful.... I emailed him in January, and got a very short reply----"Not taking any orders right now." I didn't get any idea when to try again, nor an offer to contact me when he would accept orders again. Because of this, I probably will never order from him. Certainly if I get that response again, I won't. Unfortunately right now I can't afford to try to order one, or I would in the hope that he seems to be catching up on orders. Time will tell.
