I don't think you'll have a lot of options up there and as you stated, the NCPPRC guys do a VERY well run intro clinic. Given you're more north than anything else, I'd contact Scott Satterlee of Core Shooting Solutions and see about a class with him in Washington.
For a fun, out of town trip, I can strongly recommend K&M Shooting Center in Tennessee. The courses are worth every ounce of money that you pay, the lodging on the range is top notch (calling it a 'bunk house,' is an undersell) and if you don't want to fly with your rifle and/or ship ammo, the house guns are all GA Precision rifles fitted and zeroed with Kahles optics and the ammo is from Copper Creek. Flying to Tennessee, I'd recommend arriving in to Memphis as it's about an hour shorter drive than Nashville, but either one is a great destination. I went a couple of months ago and took an extra 2 days to just enjoy the city and sites. The staff may even be able to link you up with other classmates to split things like rental cars, etc. The steak dinners with your instructor group are priceless as is the nightly just wrangling talking about whatever. It fosters a lot of fun to the hard work of the day and in my case, garners a lot of loyalty.
