Looking for suggestions for an inexpensive pair of small binoculars, something compact and under $250. I have others that are more expensive and larger but I don't want to keep them in the car as they are too big.

Might I suggest an alternative to binoculars. .? I've kept a Vortex Solo monocular in the glove box of my truck for 8+ years now... Only complaint is that the rubber eyepiece is cracked due to the heat of being in the closed up truck cab during the summer months; otherwise it has performed flawlessly.
