Training Courses Looking for Tactical carbine/weapons training

Some friends asked me to post to see if anyone Had any suggestions/recommendations as to where to get tactical weapons training focused in carbine but also touching in handguns.

Topics would include proper gear setup and usage including load bearing equipment and setup, proper sling usage, drawing and shooting from cover, stoppage clearing, movement drills and group training.

Something in the upper Midwest in a free state that allows such training as the state they live in does not. Their skill level would be above a basic intro to rifle course but not advanced.

All input and suggestions are appreciated!

They are located in the twin cities are of Minnesota.

Travel to an area that would have a camping site available within 4-6 hours would be ideal though longer trips could be arranged.

I’ve made the trip to the BWCA more than once so I know it’s a haul but come down and attend TDI. I can not recommend John and his crew enough. Truly a professional training facility and not some former .gov “operator” looking to turn a buck on the weekends.

This may be outside of their travel area but I will keep it in mind.

Some distance of travel like this may be unavoidable though.
