It seems from the news that has come out in bits & pieces that eventually we are going to get blamed for the political mess that is happening in Saudi Arabia.
Basically a mini civil war between the various factions of the house of Saud with the new apparent leader wanting to wipe out the wealth and influence of any other powerful branches.
First the news comes out that this Saudi Prince of Sand met with Donald Trump's son in law right before his "crackdown"
Then they are now spreading stories that the US is helping with the torture & coercion of various former high ranking and wealthy people:

True or not, it won't matter as much, too many Americans, especially people in politics have no idea about the long term consequences of things, especially when dealing with people who don't forget and are happy to die avenging supposed wrongs from hundreds of years ago.
The most successful terrorist leaders tend not to be the ragged street dwellers, but rather the well educated children of rich / powerful families that have some strong ideological reason to hate someone. (Like wonder why our best buddies became our worst enemies... couldn't be anything like million taken from their bank accounts or a bit too much overt messing stuff up among other things could it?).
History has proved over the last 50 years that the various kingdoms in the house of sand are more than happy to blame the "infidels" for all their internal issues and export the more intelligent and dangerous ones abroad to burn off a bit of steam killing the unbelievers funded by their friends and parents.
My guess is regardless of how this all plays out in the kingdom of sand, both the winners and the loosers will shift blame to the Americans & sometime in the next coming Decade American lives will pay the price for the stories told.
It would be nice if for once our political leaders would let all the issues that the sand kingdoms cause be fully on their own heads publically & actually name and shame the guilty.
My guess is about now the Saudi's will start pushing us to start a war with Iran to take the heat off their internal impending collapse.
