I'm cross dominate when it comes to my vision. I shoot pistol right handed and rifle left. Now when I got hunting or running a carbaine class (Bolt/AR platform) I've always ran a right handed setup. My Ar's I'll add ambi options (charging handle/mag release/safety). Since I want to get in to higher end bolt guns, I'm wanting to build a .22lr first to see if I really do like this platform before I go and buy a 6.5 creedmore/.308/etc. I do understand you can sink a good bit of money in to any hobby but at the end of the day I would be saving money, granted I do have a alot of .22lr. Looking a the Savage MKII FV SR which I've read awesome reviews on. Sad part it does not come in a Lefty.

Some will say to get a righty and learn to use it, which I have just not master it. Others will also say if I need to sell it, it would be a slim market. This I'm not worry about because this rifle is for me, and me only.

Stock options come in to play as well which I feel like I'm forced to use a right handed setup if I want to stay with in budget. If I have to do right setup, Boyd's stock seems to have some short commings. Which I believe I would probably look at Manner's stocks.

Thanks for the input guys!

I just went with a cz 452. I am also ambi-dominant and shoot rifles left handed, so a trainer/practice 22 is a bit tough to come by. Remington makes a few nice Lh options, but it is tough to beat a 452 for cheap performance.

You can get a lefty Savage w/ full length heavy barrel (FLVSS) and then replace the stock. Trick will be finding a left hand cut stock (for the bolt)
