In the realm of somewhat impractical (but interesting) shooting, has anybody ever done much with loopholes?
I got the opportunity at a friends farm and it was damn near impossible to get the dope right on the barn and the target at the same time. Its hard to see how anyone would be able to pull that off for a first round on target at any range, but I know it happens.
The scenario was 330 yds to hole in abandoned barn, another 280 past that to the steel, spotter to the side calling misses. Can't see the steel from the shooting position, everything was worked to hold down off center of loophole.
Also, spotting from a significant angle to the side makes it damn near impossible to call windage misses. Any tips for that?
