So on Netflix, they have some shows from the outdoor channel. There's this show called "Hollywood Weapons: Fact or Fiction?" and it's hosted by Terry Schaepert (sp?) and he's the former SF guy that went around the world a few years back and filmed operations with various tier 1 groups around the world. Can't recall the name of that show, but it was really good and if you search his name you can probably find it.
Then on Prime, Ian McCollum has several neat shows on there that are about 2 hours and generally go over 4 weapons or so in great detail and he also provides some history. Very knowledgeable. Search for "firearms" on prime and they come up, you can find the rest from there. They have titles like "guns of Hollywood" and "guns of civil war" and "guns of WW2" and "really big guns" etc. There are some other shows on prime too, SCCY? They aren't as good but show off several newer weapons.
All in all, there are several new gun shows on both Amazon and Netflix, some pro vs anti arguments, but also several good shows ABOUT firearms and not politics. I posted earlier on here about the ones on Amazon but found the ones on Netflix today.
Netflix also has the Ken Burns Vietnam documentary; you definitely don't want to miss that. He explains Vietnam so well you ALMOST think you know what it was about!
