I ordered the upper from Larue about 1 year ago. I also ordered their lower and assembled what you see in the picture. At first I had a Bushnell Eliete 6500 2.5-16 power scope on it. Not bad but not quite what I wanted. Later I tried a totally different route and put my Swarovski 1-6 scope on it and tried to use it as a three gun rifle. No dice too heavy. I went back to the DMR thinking and got a Nightforce 2.5 to 10 x32 on it with the low velocity reticle. I also added a cheap Primary Arms red dot sight in a Larue mount to it as a close range sight. The compensator is a JKC Titan brake. The muzzle does not move. I can see bullet impacts with this brake.

Anyway I found a load that works great in it. 22.5 grains of N135 behind a 77 grain Sierra Match bullet with Federal Match primers. I loaded the bullets to 2.260. My velocity is 2614 with this load. A bit slower than I would like but its super accurate. The barrel is stainless and the twist is 1/8. So far with this load it is averaging .64 for 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I have fired over 20 groups so far and the worst group was .95.

I have shot it out to 550 yards on steel targets. I am really liking this gun. Its my favorite long range rifle. I have a GAP AR10 in .308 that is set up similar.

Its a good rifle but It can group anywhere from this

To extremes like this.

Basically put I am not as consistent with it. I can basically do 1.5 moa with it on demand but I can not always get the sub moa groups and that is frustrating.

Also what can you guys tell me about fouling shots. A friend of mine always fires one round at the range after he has cleaned his rifle to "foul the bore". Does this really help your cold bore impacts or is it myth.

My GAP 308's cold bore shot can be really bad but my Larue always shoots spot on from first shot to the last.
