Although he was not mine, he was a much favored "Cyber Pet." We received word this morning that "K'eyush the Stunt Dog" a "Huksamute" living in the UK, crossed the rainbow bridge on 02/03/2025. I guess his best pal "Sherpa" couldn't wait any longer and summoned him up there. Now, they can both run free, and banter with each other.

The owner, Jodie, put out this video:

Rest Easy buddy. You and Sherpa can be in Heaven and tear it up!

I love my dog more than i do most people. She has me wrapped and she knows it. Ive lost several and it seems worse every time. Maby its where i get older and care more about things more. I can Come home from the worst day and she can make me smile just looking at her when she greets me at the door. God speed "K'eyush boy

I think the reason why it's harder to lose dogs than humans is that:

    1) Dogs provide "unconditional" love, unlike most humans. And we also recognize how dependent they are on us. And that's a huge drug that can be quite addicting... Sometimes it's really hard to go "Cold Turkey."

    2) It's (relatively) easy to know you were loved (or not :D ) by a human. It's harder for a dog to communicate that in human terms. But once you recognize how they communicate that in "dog" terms, it's so much the better, and the loss thereof is so much harder.
