LRB M25/SEI Crazy Horse Scope mount question

I'm strongly considering having a good M14 built. Can anyone tell me if the LRB M25 receiver with integral scope base sits lower than say the SEI scope mount?

I'm still leaning toward the LRB M25 to simplify things. Just curious if it will help me mount a Short Dot and not have to use a ridiculously high cheek piece.

Re: LRB M25/SEI Crazy Horse Scope mount question

The M25 rail will ride lower than the SEI...no doubt about that. If you want to use irons, don't sink your money in to an M25. The M25 is hands down the best M1A platform to use optics with. No scope mount issues, and a rock solid design from the leader in the forged M1A receiver game currently.

The height of the LRB M25 will be equivilant to the old style split ARMS #18 mount. You can use irons with the M25, it would be just like using irons on a M1A with a Sadlak mount.
