LRI X pattern fluting

Just got my barreled action back from LRI. Mack Bros action K&P 1 in 10 308
18 inch barrel. X pattern fluting and SAS Tomb mount with SAS 7 inch Titanium can. KRG Bravo chassis. Haven't decided on color for action and scope yet.

Spray with wd40 like a shovel.

That's the plan. I plan on shooting this weekend with 175 and 168 Fed GM as a baseline before working up a load.

Great looking rig! Researching doing this to my rifle as well. Is this a range toy or do you use it for hunting as well? I'm considering doing it for hunting but concerned it'll collect debris while hiking around the backcountry.
