Rifle Scopes lupy 4.5 x14 IV ?'s

i have 2 of them unfortunately fine duplex.

in lieu of buying new scope/s:

does anyone change reticle to mil-dot? front focal plane (ffp) preferable.

i'd like to change to M1 knobs, who stocks them? is it user serviceable? do m1 knobs have better zero stop than standard? any pros/cons?

Leupold custom shop can do this type of work,I don't believe you can change second plane to front however.I think the scope erector is totally different.

Have you checked Leupold's Custom Shop for these changes?

There was a member here that recently had this done, he told me that the M1 turrets were appx $160 and a TMR reticle was appx $130 With return shipping from Leupold total cost was $280. The mil dot retcile is a a few dollars cheaper I beleive. Hope this helps.

I believe you have the dollar amounts mixed around. They quoted me $160 for the TMR and $130 for the turrets.
