I guess I should do an intro. "UW Mitch" has been my forum handle since back when I was a freshman in college at the University of Washington and discovered the internet and Bladeforums.com. I've been involved with custom knife collecting, photographing, etc for many years, also been into shooting USPSA matches. I'm a novice when it comes to long guns, and last year took a course in central Oregon (Bend) from OTS-NW where we rang steel at 1000 yards. Living in NW Oregon, I'm a member at Tri County Gun club but of late, my wife and my newborn has taken up the weekends when I might otherwise be going to the range.
I've lurked on here for a couple years, learned a lot from reading, and am now posting, so I figured I better to some kind of "hello my name is" instead of being some random person just dishing our random opinion (now I'm just a specific known person dishing out some random experience! LOL )
