I went shooting Sunday with the new repr . fit and finish is great ..accuracy is great.. but shooting her showed a dark side of small troubles ...ok the feeding trouble was two part -the mag catch needed one more turn in -the next is dealing with the gas system[its more set up for a longer barrel-18''/20''maybe] the bolt /carrier NOT going back far enough to pick up next round at normal setting with nato ammo .Next is the cocking handle goes wild on recoil -the spring loaded plunger treaded insert came loose -the fix would be a treaded steel insert in the upper..the mate of better mounting of the spring loaded plunger treaded insert in the cocking handle, both are weak .....like many new weapon designs have teething troubles starts if this the only weakness to the whole system -NOT bad but more R/D needed before it goes on the market is needed .....

sounds like part of the problem is the mag catch. The magazine is not positioned high enough, therefore, the bolt is going over the round. Give LWRC a call, there is a quasi-recall for this issue. They might be able to address your other issues when you send in your rifle.

yes i did they told me the same i did ....great people at CS -some of the best i have seen so far ! yes small fixes are needed even for the best....i know this well working on M.Benz for years so nothing new to me ....

People have waited long enough for this rifle. It seems to me that a few more months to get it "right" really wouldn't have been that big of a deal.

My REPR is at LWRC getting the upgrade. Anxious to get it back and se how it runs. I didn't have any other issues other than the magazine headaches....just hope it runs once I get it back. Your cocking handle issue is the first I've heard.

all these issues with the REPR that I have seen makes me at least wait a year before I get one so they can fix these glitches. For as much as those rifles are you would think it would have been ready for prime time when they came out.
