Course description:
Aerial Gunfighter is an Intermediate course designed to take precision shooters’ abilities to all new heights…get it? Whether the shooter is part of an SRT, military sniper, Civilian or a pest controller on a ranch the art of shooting from an aerial platform can offer professionals a new asset. MOA is excited to be offering this discipline due to the unique challenges involved and the amount of fun learning this skillset is unparalleled.
Student Expectations:
This course requires Basic firearms experience. Fundamentals of marksmanship will be the cornerstone for this highly advanced evolution. Students must be able to grasp the mathematical aspect of precision shooting and be able to apply the math with a moderate level of distraction. This course will include classroom portions of learning, static shooting. Safety is always paramount for our students; however, the transfer of information and teaching methodologies used has produced proven results for every LR shooter. Although this is not a physically demanding course the ability to be in a prone position for extended periods of time and a comfort of heights is a must. Each student can expect a minimum of two live runs from a bird with the possibility of more. By end of course MOA promises you a training evolution that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Disciplines:
The focus of this course is to marry the fundamentals and application of marksmanship with the advanced skills required for aerial platform shooting. This course will include mathematical formulae, high angle equations and range estimation; all while flying in a helicopter.
Training Hours: TOTAL: 2 Days.
Day 1- 8am-4pm. Day 2- 8am-4pm. Lunches will be provided for each student each training day.
