Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P 2.0 Metal Spec Series

Yes I had hands on 2 weeks ago. Sportsmans den in Shelby Ohio had just gotten it in. I have both of the competitors in metal. I kick my self in ass for not buying it. They had it for $899. Biggest take away is that is an actual compensator at the end and threaded on. I could use my suppressors with it. The green is darker than that picture. It is a true OD green.

Any idea on holsters that would work for this?
I’m back and forth on the metal, if it’s worth the extra $400 over a full size polymer

Found one local. Threw a 507 comp on it. May switch out to a smaller optic later.

S&W screwed the pooch so bad with that by making the frame from aluminum instead of steel.
I agree. I’m big into m&p’s so I wanted this due it being a limited run. But even though the aluminum frame doesn’t do much compared to the polymer, I do prefer the feel in my hand.
The 2.0’s are pretty flat shooting anyways, but a steel frame would have 100% been badass.

A 4.5" steel frame M&P for less than $1200 retail would make me sell my Shadow 2 for USPSA and it would crush the steel Walther (too expensive) and the steel Canik (unreliable).

Icing on the cake: made in the USA

Ive got my SRO on this now and so far, Im about 700 rounds in. No issues and This thing is freaking sweet!!!!

I picked up a shadow 2 and this thing is more fun and more flat shooting than the shadow.

Yeah I love mine. I actually had Floyd's port a barrel for it since the top window is there, similar to the monsoon lucky 7 and it shoots ridiculously flat. About 1k rounds in and no complaints.

Well.......duh

It has a compensator.

Put a comp on a Shadow and it won't be even close.
Sure but you can actually carry an m&p. 30oz compd gun compared to a 46oz steel gun is a fair comparison for us normal guys haha
I thought about getting a threaded barrel for the S2 and doing the same thing... BUT

I keep looking at the cost of my S2, with the CGW Pro kit, LOK grips...and I cant help but feel like I wasted my money compared to this m&p.
