M1A / Black Betty gets a new skirt

I picked up this SOCOM 16 last December. Its a blast to shoot, but something was missing. Well I stripped the Ultimak and M68 off and replaced it with a black Fulton Armory handguard. She's a blast to shoot with iron sights, even doing CQB drills. She is definitely a pig, and loud at that.

I think the wood stock looks much better. I replaced the GI fiberglass on my scout with GI wood.

None of the M 14/M1A variants look right in any thing but wood.

No doubt about it...the wood is where it's at. I wish I had done this to my SOCOM before selling it. I went with the SAGE EBR chassis. If I had it to do again, I would likely go the wood route.
