Picked up a SOCOM II and the trigger is a bit rough and creepy. Word has it the factory trigger group can be stoned and polished up to perform nicely. Just wondering if anybody here has done this or has some info on straitening out M1A triggers... Thanks for your time!

You can do it yourself it just takes patience. Get "The M14 Complete Assembly Guide" by Walt Kuleck/Clint McKee and it walks you through the process. You should also go to Glen Zediker's site and download some of his stuff and read up on the M14/M1a, it is unique and there are things you need to know about it.

Like Chas said, You can tune your own, but, if you plan on doing it yourself get "The M14 Complete Assembly Guide" and read it -- There is an appendix in the back of the book for tuning the trigger. The First sentence recommends that you have some spare hammers on hand while learning to tune your trigger

SEI has done up 5 trigger groups for me with their MAX-PAK upgrade... outstanding.
