In my opinion, at least...

I just picked up this yesterday after waiting three weeks for shipping issues to be resolved. I can't begin to say how amazing this thing is.
It's GAP built on a Badger M2008 Action, AICS 2.0 Chassis with Huber Concepts 2 stage trigger (originally a timney straight trigger but I changed that out last night).
Barrels are both Krieger straight taper: one is an 18" 308 w/badger brake and the other is a 24" 284 Win also threaded for badger brake.
Bought it off of Longrangehunter website. Came with the bipod shown, both barrels and the AI action wrench for changing them.
I paid 3k for the whole setup which is appropriate because it weighs nearly 3k pounds!

Feeds like butter from AW mags and is the smoothest action I have ever felt! I can't wait to shoot it!

The 2013 action is supposed to be even nicer which is hard to imagine. Shaving a few ounces wouldn't make much of a difference in this build because of how much weight is in these monster barrels.

That rifle deserves better than a Nikon to be utilized it to its full potential.

I would look over/search the optics section and look for a scope that costs at a minimum half of what your rifle cost. You will never regret it.

Something in the 3-15 range would be about perfect. Either a NF (at a minimum), Steiner (Perfect), or Premeir (very nice as well) would be dragon tits for this rifle.

Good looking rifle tho.

Regards,
DT

But if OP Is really attached to scope I'm sure we can find someone to take the rifle off his hands. ;)

Got to shoot it today for the first time. The wind was howling and it felt like 30 degrees outside but I couldnt wait any longer.
Happy to report that she's a shooter. Half inch groups af 120 yards even with frozen hands. Surprisingly the 168 bthp's and the 155 a-max's shot to almost the exact same point of aim. Didn't expect that. It liked both rounds equally well although better conditions will allow some more precise analysis.

3K seems to be a pretty great price for that switch-barrel set up. Congrats on the purchase, and if you ever break an axle on your vehicle you have a spare in the form of that .308 barrel!
