M2010 build thread / parts list

This probably won't be too popular due to scarcity of parts. That being said, any help would be appreciated. I have a RACS chassis on hand and C prefix 700 coming. I know it needs an m24 trigger, the only thing I can't figure out is the barrel contour. My guess is AMU, but my Google-fu is coming up short.

Update, from another member on the hide it seems that the m24 contour is accurate with a standard rem700/m24 recoil lug.

I haven't forgotten about this thread. Cadex was able to help me out with a hinge pin. Found a racs top rail that is a couple slots too short, still working out a solution there. Bartlein is spinning the barrel soon, and the aac titan QD is pending. It's coming along nicely though.

The q fix rails are close I'll check the fit on mine

You will need to narrow the recoil lugs on a Q rail to make it fit. The hole spacing is the same.
If eurooptic and cadex cant get you a rail i can ask my buddy to try and make some for you

The barrel came in and it's currently on it's way to RW Snyder for a face lift. Maybe I'll see it by the end of the year, beginning of the next.

Beautiful! I'm looking at doing a build of my own. I have very little hope in locating a remington chassis so I'll be going Cadex. I may have missed it but did you find out what the barrel contour was? Also who did you source from?

It's an m24 contour, I sourced it from bartlein.

Where were you able to find the monolithic rail for the M2010? I also added a new 2stage trigger in the system that works great, got it from trigger tech

I’m trying to repair my M2010 and run into another issue. The two Allen head screws that hold the forehand together pulled the thread insert and stripped it. Now I’m not only needing a replacement rail but a new thread insert. Now with Remington out of the market I’ve got a $7k paperweight

Best bet would be to have them tapped for larger helicoils

Quick question, I've seen people mention different prefixes. The 2010 I use has an RR.......C are there different combinations out there? Does anyone know what they would be and why?

C, G, and RR. Just depended on what was used when Remington took in old M24s for retrofit into M2010s.
