M40a1 replica gurus

A friend of mine passed away and has left his family with his gun collection to deal with. I went over to help and noticed a M40 replica. Unertyl scope, not US optics replica. Mcmillan stock in forest camo, pretty sure it is a new stock and not a return. I don't know enough to know if it is clip slotted, DD Ross bottom metal and the like. His widow is counting on the collection to make ends meet, so I need to know what it is worth. Unforunately I don't know the builder, but I can take pictures of anything needed to help with the sale. Any help is appreciated. I stand nothing to gain other than helping out the widow.
