M70 Sniper Build, new to me.

A 1959 Mod 70 fitted with heavy barrel and scope blocks, currently fitted with a Lyman 15x scope. Just purchased in the UK. Lots of patina.

Thats a good looking rifle. Absolutely love the M70!!! So sexy with those old lyman or unertl scopes.

Lyman is such an underrated scope. I prefer it to the unertl in performance.

The Marine rifle teams actually used the Lyman Supertargetspots on their Model 70 team rifles. So it looks pretty good.
