M84 scope

Nada ????
Anyone know about this brand ????

The M84 is a very primitive scope that was designed in 1944, and is best used for only vintage rifles like the M1D or maybe a Korean era M1903A4.
I once owned a repo M84 scope but sold it and got a real M84 for my M1D project. They are only 2.2X power and were severely outdated by the mid-1950s. Elevation adjustment is pretty limited too, and that likely includes the repo M84s, based on the same turret design.

The real M84s are going up in value and today are really pricey compared to 10 years ago. The repos are likely made in China and they might have coated lens that the originals did not have, but again, it's a repo. Guys who are serious at the CMP vintage sniper matches (for 300 and 600 yard competition) generally prefer an old Lyman Alaskan over a real or repo M84. I see a few repo's on repo M1D rifles but I doubt you'll find any real reviews on a repo M84 as they are likely always unmarked and no one knows exactly who made them (or where), but somewhere in China is my best guess....

I'd step up to building a 1903a1 unertl USMC sniper clone then get much better optics with a unertl, fecker, Lyman, etc externally adjustable scopes.

Pics of rifle and info on the build?

Ah man ,
I either have 1922m2 barreled action for the 1903a1 build with a fajen 1903 unfinished stock needs hardware, I have a 8 x target sport and a few odds and ends ,,,,,,
1903a3 action and 1922m2 bolt to convert , either a 1922m2 barrel or sleeve a 1903a3 barrel , I have a C stock K marked that the end was cut off and found a end for it or a thick c stock but need hardware and hand guard , redfield jr mount on the way , 26 mm rings , m82 from and mount from hi-lux on the way , looking for a civi kollmorgen scope with the adjustments up front but not the target knobs ( I don’t want to spend $5000 lol )
Got a lot of parts need some parts and it will all come together lol

There was a repro M84 scope available from KeepShooting.com that came out of Taiwan a few years back. It was considered the best repro, but it was only a couple runs and don't think they are currently available.

Yeah I had read about that one but like you say it’s not available any longer

This one is supposed to be made in Japan but no one knows anything about it

One person in the business says that all the repos will break , the adjustment screws are soft and repeated use of elevation and windage they will break so that deterred me , I haven’t found any reviews to support that statement though

But I have a lead on a ,,,,,,,rebuilt / refurbished m84a and think that is my best bet
