Magnetospeed Hit Indicators/Flashers for Long Range Rimfire

OK since these units seem to be GTG for RF, I jumped in the T4R and scooted out to MHSA and grabbed these for the new CRC RF match:

They work very well when set up correctly

My only complaint is quick follow ups. Its pretty easy on a prone stage to get 4 shots down range real fast when you get our wind call right on the first shot and they don't all reset the indicator. Had it happen at a match. 4 shots in like a 4" group at 380ish that the spotter called but the flasher only picked up 2 I think it was

Looks like good advice, thank you.

I used em’ for our NRL22X match at Cameo this past March. No problems that I know of. They lit up every time they were supposed to. Gotta use pretty light steel though, and you gotta hang the steel properly so that it’ll both ring & so impacts set off the T-1000’s

Disagree with your comment on using the light steel hung properly, at least for the Gen 2 units.

A few days ago I set my two brand new Gen 2s (see Post #9) to "Extra High Sensitivity," and they lit up like champs at 420y, affixed to a 100% IPSC made of 1/2" AR500, mounted on a T-post. The Gen 1 units I believe do not have this "Extra High" option...

Extra High sensitivity is nuts. If I pick up the device, that's sometimes enough force to set it off.
