What’s the opinions on the magnum research brand 10/22’s that they sell? They have complete rifles with different sticks and carbon fiber barrels. Any good?

No experience with them. In the overview they say a production semi-auto. To me they save you from ordering XYZ and putting everything together, a one-stop shop

a buddy bought the carbon bbl one for his kid 20 yrs ago nothing special . you can send a beater to Randy at CPC and receive a shooter for under 200$

I own one of they’re special 10/17 models which I immediately swapped barrels to .22lr, and light bolt handle. The receiver is nicely done with good tolerances, the bolt is excellent. The trigger pack is typical Ruger alloy OEM, nothing special. I traded into mine for the deluxe walnut stock with cheekpiece, makes for a classy autoloader.

I love their Carbon barrels. They shoot fantastic with Wolf, Power Points and Mini-Mags. Easily capable of sub 1/2" at 50 yards. I have at least 5, and snatch them up when I see them.

I didn’t see a CF barrel option. Just stainless and “graphite”

I have the carbon/graphite barrel on my 10/22. Sighting it in at 50 yards I took the “10” out of a 8” shoot n see target. Then I shot again. I thought I missed the target. Shot again and still no mark. Then I said hmm and shot for the “9” and it disappeared. The “8” and “7” followed. I replaced the barrel and put a bx trigger in it at the same time. The trigger has too much creep for me. In my opinion this is a very accurate barrel.
