Precision Rifle #1 MAGPUL DYNAMICS YAKIMA, WA
>3 Day Course on Development of basic skills to become a proficient long range marksman.
DAY 1> 100yd zeros, Shooting fundamentals, Point of aim lessons, Rapid
target engagement drills, Finding true muzzle v.
DAY 2>Learning to read field conditions ie. wind, terrain, weather.
Basics of ballistics on what the bullet does and why, Using ballistic
PDAs and Kestrel.
Another course of fire applying all these skills.
DAY 3>Learning to mil targets for unknown distance, Alternative
shooting positions,Another course of fire applying all we have learned
over 3 days.
OVERVIEW>As a former marine, this course exceeded my every
expectation. To start the location was as real world as it gets, no
range flags, no 100yd dirt berms, unpredictable wind and weather. The
targets were set at unpredictable ranges. The course instructor
Caylen Wojcik was very humble compared to the amount of information
and skills he has taught to USMC scout snipers and applied in combat.
Which made for a perfect learning environment for both Military/Law
enforcement/ or civilian personal. I was amazed at how he took four
people with different skill levels and brought all of us up to par
very quickly, and made sure that all the students at all times were
fully understanding the certain skills he was teaching throughout the
course. In summery i would highly recommend this course to any
marksman looking to improve on your basic fundamentals and long range
target engagement and i have. Speaking for myself i learned many
proper skills to use for long range accurate target engagement that i
thought i already knew but what i was using before were very sloppy
fundamentals at best. I cannot wait to take the PR2 course and keep
building on my skills to become a great marksman, my only warning
would be once you take this course you will be hooked on tactical long
range shooting!!
