A month or so ago I ordered a box of the subject bullets.. Box came with only 45 vs 50 bullets as this was the last batch of that run that he had. So he said he'd send me a box of the new run (said he made them to open at even lower velocity) once they were finished/tested. Well he didn't only send me one box, he sent me 2! So above and beyond...
I want to use these for vermin control so I did a sort of hillbilly expansion test on the old ones and the new ones, with this basic of a test I didn't notice any difference between the two. Only tested to 45yds, but they open great and have decent accuracy. Group of 3 I tested was about 1/2". Two others were shot through a plastic bag lined 14" cardboard box filled with water, and a moving blanket behind to catch it.. They fully expanded in that 14" of water, muzzle velocity was right at 1100 fps (think I need to drop .1gr of TB). Stability wasn't an issue with a 1/8 twist 16" barrel.
