Hello everyone,
Machined a full length rail for my manners LRH and screwed up first go around. fixed the mistake, now up for grabs. Uses stock mounting holes for the arca section and the B&T picatinny section, so no extra hardware or modification necessary.
Long story short, math is hard and I messed up the hole pattern on my model. Welded up the holes on the bottom side and ran the program again to fix it.
Ended up taking off 0.010” on the bottom side to make sure I have a clean surface. So the rail itself has a functional dovetail, but fits loose compared to the stock 3.5” section from Manners. You’ll need to tighten ball heads, bipods etc.
Unseen side still has holes on the top opened up, so just a cosmetic issue. Some pitting from the welding on the bottom.
Weights 8 oz, didn’t bother pocketing it out because this was a dud. 14” in length. Sand blasted, not finished, wouldn’t recommend anodize because of the welding. Likely the finish won’t turn out well if anodized.
$40 shipped to you.
