I hate doing this however some things issues have arisen in my personal life and funds have dried up. I was wondering if it's possible to cancel or hold off on a manners custom order. Has anyone ever had to do this before? I have ordered 2 stocks in the past and have been very pleased with them and I hate to have them make something for me that I can't pick up just yet.

Though I don't know Manners' policy specifically, you should expect that if you are cancelling a custom order with any company, you would lose a certain percentage (normally 15-35%) as a "re-stocking" fee. They will end up taking a hit on selling price for a custom stock so they can move it and hopefully keep the cash flow close to the same as their forecast prior to your cancellation. It's only fair. They have employees with families to pay and companies like that run on pretty tight net margins to be competitive.

Hi Spookm14, No worries at all, we understand. If you would, please call the office to give them a heads up, or you can just PM me the build numbers and I will take care of it. Down the road when you are ready, just let us know and we will get going on another one for you. Thank you very much,

Thats about what I would have expected from Manners. There is a reason so many of us keep going back for more. I like the company, I like the product, and I like the way the company is run. I want to see them succeed, so I patronize them. I know they have been succeeding without me.

You don't find customer service like this very often. I figured that would be the response you would get, they are great to deal with.

With my 300wm being done with a T4A and my next stick going to be a 223 trainer, I wonder what stockmaker I'll be using for that build. Customer service like this makes the decision pretty easy.
